New York Tamil Sangam and Koshy O Thomas Successfully Hosted India Day Parade in Queens
Under the leadership of New York Tamil Sangam President Kathirvel Kumararaja and their Executive team, alongside Koshy O Thomas, Community Activist and Queens India Day Parade Committee Chairman, the India Day Parade in Queens was a resounding success. The event, held in association with the Floral Park/Bellerose Indian Merchants Association, Inc. and Gujarati Samaj, celebrated India's 78th Independence Day with grandeur and unity.
The parade was honored by the presence of New York City Mayor Eric Adams, Queens Borough President Donovan Richards Jr., and Assemblyman Edward C. Braunstein. Their attendance highlighted the importance of cultural celebrations in fostering community bonds and celebrating diversity in New York City.
