Rotary Club of Trincomalee is implementing the above Project in the Schools in the Illankaithurai Muhathuvaaram Hindu College, Gopaalapuram Tamil Maha vidyaalayam and Kuchavelly Vivekanantha College in Trincomalee.Break down of the Project :-No.
of Beneficiaries – 519 Families (Women Headed families & under poverty line)Under this Project these families were provided with each 50 birds (Chicken). They will provide morning meal to their childrenfrom their income.Morning breakfast – 600 children for 6 months.School Stationaries – 1000 packetsBicycles for children - 80 Nos.Children who come from far places were provided with Bicycles.Poor children also provided with school stationaries.The last item of this project - to handover Bicycles at Illankaithurai Muhathuvaaram Hindu College took place on Tuesday 25th.Rotary President Ahilan, project coordinator PP Sivashankar, past presidents Dr.Gunalan & Thirumugam participated along with President Elect Kidinathas.School Principal, teachers, students & parents graced this occasion- Our NRI Reporter Dr.G.Gunalan
