Chennai: IIT-M Pravartak partners with Jharkhand University of Technology to enhance education, innovation, and skill development in deep-tech fields. The collaboration focuses on fostering innovation, skill enhancement, industry-academia ties, and startup incubation. Dr. MJ Shankar Raman, CEO of IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, signed the MoU on 5, February 2024, with Dr. DK Singh, Vice Chancellor of Jharkhand University of Technology. Supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, the initiative aims to advance Jharkhand's startup ecosystem and technical education quality. Prof. V. Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, emphasized the potential to boost innovation and entrepreneurship in Jharkhand. The partnership will develop Jharkhand University of Technology's Research Park, foster academia-industry collaboration, and promote research and incubation. Dr. D.K Singh highlighted the initiative's role in cultivating an innovative culture and improving the state's economy. Key aspects of the partnership include skill development, academic connections, incubation support, and industry collaborations, aimed at advancing Jharkhand's technological landscape.
